Take Flight is the second single from Old Cities; the solo project of music producer and songwriter, Jordi White.

Upon first hearing the track I couldn't get my thoughts away from the sense of romantic nostalgia it evoked. So I set to work, writing a treatment for this video, which helped to capture the feelings of falling in love for the very first time.

The narrative follows two teenagers on a date, in all of it's awkward splendour. As they progress on their adventure, we get hints that while their feelings are familiar, maybe this is not happening in the world we know.

My goal with this video was to instil the viewer with a sense of wonder; recalling the innocence of youth. And remind them that there is magic out there for those who are willing to look closely.
